    • Managed and spearheaded global activities in the new founded division for “process chemistries for metallizing semiconductor and nano-technology structures and devices” with typical structures from mid µm- to low nm- dimensions.

    • Oversaw high- and ultra-high purity chemical supply systems division and service products with revenues of over av. $35M annually.
    • Managed business and technology offerings from engineering, sales, construction and qualification activities for high purity and ultra-high purity chemistry used for semiconductor and nanotechnology applications globally.
    • Ensured business and technology solutions for these chemistries tailored to customer’s needs from R&D- to mass- production volumes.
    • Oversaw operation support team at customer facilities on service contracts to maintain ultra-high purity processing capabilities.
    • Managed definition and construction activities of high chemistry infrastructure built in 13 semiconductor fabricators around the globe (Germany, France, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Netherlands.

    • Oversaw technology interface missions for advanced memory devices R&D between IBM Burlington, VT, IBM East Fishkill, NY and the IBM facility in Sindelfingen/Boeblingen, Germany.
    • Made communality and processing technology enhancements, such as defect control for yield, reliability and productivity management.
    • Developed new technologies to meet the processing requirements of advanced semiconductor devices, from blueprints to full qualification with a focus on FEOL process steps. The same approach was used to enhance Si-wafer diameter going in steps from 57mm up 300mm diameter.
    • Managed implementation of Siemens/IBM semiconductor technology memory device R&D cooperation for advanced memory chips (64MBit) in Burlington, VT and East Fishkill, NY, USA.
    • Responsible as program manager for the chemical and process gas infrastructure definition, build, and qualification of IBM’s advanced facility, Boeblingen-Hulb, Germany.
    • Coordinated and performed support during development and integration activities of advanced semiconductor technologies between the IBM facilities in Burlington, VT and East Fishkill NY, Sindelfingen Germany and Essonnes, France.
